Do you love popcorn? Buttery, salty popcorn? Me too, but it is so not healthy. Fortunately it is easy to make microwave popcorn right at home and it is much healthier!

If you are a child of the 1980’s, then you probably remember hot-air popcorn makers. They were big and noisy and very popular at the time. They still make them and lots of people still use them. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have room for another kitchen appliance.
Easiest Microwave Popcorn Ever
Here’s what you need:
- 1/4 cup popcorn kernels
- Paper lunch bag
Seriously…that’s all you need.
Put the popcorn kernels in the paper lunch bag and fold the top over twice.
Lay the bag in the microwave and cook on high for approximately 2 minutes and 30 seconds. You may need to experiment a little, based on your microwave. It is finished when the “popping” slows down to just about nothing.
Sometimes, it can be difficult to get the timing exactly right, but always remember that it is better to have a few unpopped kernels than burnt popcorn.
